The
eurofootballfives Veterans Tournament is a moveable
feast. The story began in Lisbon in 2013 before
going on the road to Mallorca (2014 & 2017),
the Algarve (2015 & 2018) with a return
to Lisbon in 2016 and a brand new destination
for 2019, Alicante. Due to growing popularity
we added a second Veterans tournament to our
calendar to be staged in September. Lisbon again
kicked us off in 2017 with Mallorca in 2018
and now our first Veterans visit to Budapest.

First
up in Group A was World Pinteur Veterans (Fra)
versus Bure Park Old Boys (Eng). It was the
French team who kicked off in style and in particular
Eric Lemoisson who scored two first half goals
for his team.
After
the break, Ian Mansley reduced the deficit to
2-1 but World Pinteur Veterans would re-establish
a two goal lead thanks to Romain Ziat. Final
score, 3-1.
