Going into the final round of games, the top 2 places had been settled. There were 3 teams left vying for third place. Two of those teams would now meet head-to-head as 3 Lions Touching Cloth faced Fiorentina Turner. The two best third placed teams across the 3 groups would qualify for the Cup.

The 3 Lions element of 3 Lions Touching Cloth had faced Fiorentina Turner twice at the 2018 Mallorca Tournament. In the group phase Fiorentina Turner 1 thrashed 3 Lions, 7-0. In the Plate Final, Fiorentina Turner 2 defeated 3 Lions FC, 3-1. Could this be a hattrick of wins for Fiorentina Turner?

Harry Boys opened the scoring for Fiorentina Turner as another win looked on the cards. He was a scorer in the 7-0 win a year ago. There was joy for 3 Lions Touching Cloth as Chris Baginsky (veteran of all nine 3 Lions' tours) levelled things up at 1-1. A draw wasn't much use for either team as it looked like 9+ points would be required to qualify for the Cup. In the “live” league table 3 Lions Touching Cloth sat on 8 points, Fiorentina Turner on 7 as things stood.

The teams needed a winner. Cometh the hour, cometh the man and that man was Jonas Kihlstrom. His goal gave Fiorentina Turner a vital win. They moved up to third position and would now have to wait to see if they had done enough to qualify.

We turned our attentions to Game 20 of Group B as World Pinteur versus FC Shaolin Badgers. World Pinteur had just the one defeat from their group games so far but three draws had slowed their progress. They needed to win their final game to move on to 9 points with Fiorentina Turner. Any sort of win would see them climb into third on goal difference. Anything less than a win and the Plate beckoned for the French.

At the other end of the table FC Shaolin Badgers would finish in seventh place whatever the result here. The two best seventh placed teams would qualify for the Trophy, the other team would be eliminated. As things stood, the three seventh placed teams would be separated by goal difference and FC Shaolin Badgers had the best. Putting points on the board would almost certainly avoid elimination.

FC Shaolin Badgers finally got reward for their efforts today. They had been on the wrong end of four 1-0 results so far today. They were finally on the correct end of a 1-0 result. Congratulations to Walter Johnson and his defence and congratulations to Ben Racle for scoring his team's first eurofootballfives.com goal.

To finalise Group B we had JUBI Titans versus GSF Drunkerz. JUBI Titans had a free hit in this game as they could finish no higher or no lower than second place. They would no doubt want to keep their unbeaten record going and take some momentum into the knock-out phase.

GSF Drunkerz had more at stake. They were currently in sixth position in the table. A win would see them move into fourth position in the table and qualify for the Plate. A draw would see them finish in sixth position on 5 points. The best sixth placed team of all 3 groups would qualify for the Plate – GSF Drunkerz would miss out as the other 6 th placed teams were on 6 points. This would see GSF Drunkerz qualify for the Trophy. A defeat would also see Trophy qualification.

Given the form of the two teams today it was perhaps no surprise that JUBI Titans ended Group B victorious. They added another three goals to their tally (Krisztian Jenei x2, Fanni Harajzti) and kept yet another clean sheet. JUBI Titans would be a team to watch for the title in the Cup competition.
