At the start of Round 4 it was World Pinteur versus JUBI Titans. Both these teams had very impressive records in our tournaments.

World Pinteur were so far unbeaten in 11 group games dating back to their debut in our tournaments. It was a record that read 6 wins, 5 draws. In all games in our tournaments they had lost just 1 game in 14 ties (2-1 to Lilchicago (Ltu) at the 2018 Riga Tournament Cup Quarter Finals).

JUBI Titans had now played 10 games in our tournaments. They had won 6, drawn 3 and lost just once (group phase 2017 Budapest Fives, 2-0 to Tinniedad & Tobacco).

This promised to be a titanic struggle and it proved to be an enthralling encounter. JUBI Titans had 2 wins from 2 today and they took the lead here. Peter Csanady scored for the third game running and became the first man to score against Alexandre Braud today.

In goal for JUBI Titans was Daniel Laszlo who was also yet to concede….until now. Adrien Maurel opened his personal account for the day to equalize. We finished 1-1 and World Pinteur's unbeaten run in the group phase of our tournaments extended to 12.

FC Shaolin Badgers were next up on Pitch D as they took on Fiorentina Turner. FC Shaolin Badgers had been involved in two close games so far but had no points to show for their efforts despite being competitive. They had a chance to turn their fortunes around against winless Fiorentina Turner.

Fiorentina Turner being winless doesn't tell the full story of their morning so far. Their three games had been against the top three teams in the table. If they could keep their heads up they maybe had a chance to capitalize on their (theoretically) easier fixtures in Group B to get some momentum going in this tournament.

This one started well for Fiorentina Turner as Matt Hanson scored their first of the day. They didn't have to wait long for further goals to follow. Shayan Maladwala increased the lead to 2-0 before the game turned into the Daniel Camm show. Camm bagged a hat-trick to record the biggest win of Group B.

It was just what the doctor ordered for Fiorentina Turner. It was a match to forget for FC Shaolin Badgers.

Game 12 of Group B was Mamarre FC versus 3 Lions Touching Cloth. Mamarre FC came into the game on the back of a 100% record with 3 wins out of 3. They were currently two points clear at the top of Group C. With a win here they could open up a 5 point lead at the top and be well on the way to securing Cup qualification with games to spare.

3 Lions Touching Cloth were the product of a merger between 3 Lions FC and Touching Cloth FC. In advance of the tournament both teams had issues with squad size and so merged to form 3 Lions Touching Cloth. They had now had 2 games to acclimatize to each other's game. They had done pretty well so far – no shame in a 2-0 defeat to JUBI Titans and a 0-0 draw versus World Pinteur. There was no let up in the conveyor belt of quality opposition standing in the way of 3 Lions Touching Cloth's first win of the day.

Mamarre FC continued on their merry way. Edoardo Marongiu scored their winner in Round 1, he opened the scoring for the Hungarian team in this game. Ali Kazemi scored his third of the tournament to make it 2-0 to the local team. David Higginson then did what no-one else had done today – score against Alessio Zanni in the Mamarre FC goal. At 2-1 it was game on.

The 3 points were sealed for Mamarre FC though when Daniel Sanchez scored his third in fourth games. The 100% record continued.
