Last but not least, we come to Group D where the group began with RS Ocean Village FC versus Bozeat FC. RS Ocean Village made their debut in the 2010 Krakow Trophy where they proved competitive but unfortunate. In every single game they lost 2-1. In the 2011 Algarve Open they put that record to bed kicking off with a 3-0 victory over Mar Olhao, a 0-0 draw against Dynamo Fucdarest and a 2-1 win against Misfits. Only a 2-0 defeat to Redhill Rovers prevented Group B victory – it was a significant result as it meant they met Athletico Do Hollande in the Cup Quarter-Finals which resulted in defeat. They return to the 2012 Algarve Open and had a tough group which they finished 5 th in qualifying for the Plate where Dark Horses accounted for them 2-0.

Bozeat All Stars also made their debut at the Krakow Trophy (2011) and had quite a debut. They finished 2 nd in their opening group behind Dutch team, eventual Runners-Up and 2012 Amsterdam Fives champions - CEPL. They finished 4 th overall in the tournament on a stunning summer's day in Poland. They returned to action in the 2012 Barcelona Fives with two teams – the Bozeat All Stars finished 3 rd (out of 5) in the Group of Death and narrowly missed out on a Plate Final as they lost out via Golden Goal to Barley FC in the Semis. Last year they played here in Budapest starting off with a win, a narrow defeat (2-3) to two-time eurofootballfives.com champions Rigford Seahawks before three successive draws slowed their progress. They got back to winning ways with a 7-2 win and 1-0 win (both against Irish opposition) in the Plate QF and SF before Meglapetes (Hungary) defeated them in the Final. They return to Budapest in 2014 with unfinished business.

It was honours even in the first period as the teams eased their way into the tournament. After the break Richard Farman struck the winning goal for Bozeat FC.

Match 2 in Group D saw Contejus Hurricanes versus Skidmarks. Contejus Hurricanes make their third appearance in eurofootballfives.com competition. In the 2012 Algarve Open they made a successful debut when they returned home with a trophy and winners medals as they claimed Plate victory. In the 2013 Krakow Trophy despite 3 group wins missed out on the Cup and played in the Plate again. A 3-0 win over It's Back saw them into another Semi-Final but Poland's Awiw stopped them in their tracks for a second Plate success

Skidmarks make their fourth appearance when they take to the field in Budapest. They will be hoping to secure their 3 rd eurofootballfives title. On debut they claimed the 2011 Valencia Fives title and followed this up with victory in the 2012 Krakow Trophy. Only Olympic Phil Babb and Athletico Do Hollande have had such a successful introduction to eurofootballfives.com competition. Olympic Phil Babb won their first 4 tournaments (Amsterdam 2008,Algarve 2009, Prague 2010 and Budapest 2011) and Athletico Do Hollande won the Algarve Open in 2010 and 2011. Skidmarks almost become only the second team to claim three titles in a row when they reached the 2013 Mallorca Fives Cup Final. French team Grant Thornton took the title that day so beware of a wounded Skidmarks beast in Budapest as they search for title #3.

Skidmarks began the campaign in just the way they would have wanted. Two goals from Neil Taylor and one from Luke Hatfield sealed a 3-0 victory.

The last two teams to get underway were both Hungarian – Meglapetes versus Budapest Celtic Lions. Meglepetes started their debut campaign on fire last year with 2 wins in their first 2 games. A draw stalled their progress before 2 defeats meant they narrowly missed out on the Cup draw. In the Plate competition they won their QF against Budapest Celtic Tigers (2-1), their SF against BBFC2 (3-0) and then claimed the Plate win 3-0 in the final over Bozeat All Stars.

The Lions squad of the Budapest Celtic is the most successful of the squads with victory in the 2013 Krakow Trophy just 8 months ago. It was therefore maybe no surprise that a tight contest reached the break level at 0-0.

The two teams met in Group B last year when the Lions ran out 2-1 victors. The result would prove to be the same this year as a Kantor Barnabas goal handed the Lions a 1-0 win.
