Round 2 started with FC Radbroke versus LITS. Both teams had successful starts to their campaign with LITS chalking up a win and FC Radbroke taking a point off a very good Argentina team. FC Radbroke, with ambitions of a third eurofootballfives.com crown, would look to claim their first win.

What we saw was two teams who were pretty evenly matched and at half-time we were all square at 0-0. LITS were looking a much improved outfit since Mallorca last year and they were giving FC Radbroke a real good run for their money.

In the end time ran out and we finished level at 0-0. It was a good return for LITS who had 4 points out of 6. For FC Radbroke, they were unbeaten but the two draws had left them in 4th position in the early Group C table.

Old Man Hortors Revival were up next as they took on Argentina. Both teams had earned themselves a point in their opening fixtures and would hope to use this as a springboard for their assault on the title.

It was Argentina who struck first just as they had in their opening fixture. It was Ali Reza with the goal this time and they lead 1-0 at half-time. In Round 1 they were pegged back in the second half – could Old Man Hortors Revival do the same?

The second goal was likely to be crucial – if Old Man Hortors Revival could claim it, it would be game on. If Argentina could plump up a two goal cushion it was likely to be game over. When the second goal came it arrived from Kya Bazargani of Argentina who sealed a 2-0 victory for his team.

The result meant Argentina would finish Round 2 at the top of Group C courtesy of goal difference. Old Man Hortors Revival were left on 1 point but there was still plenty of time for them to crank up their campaign.

To complete Round 2 we had Budapest Celtic Tigers versus FC Dad. Budapest Tigers were another of those teams who had secured a good opening point in Round 1 but were looking to accelerate their charge up the table by taking 3 points in Round 2. FC Dad had slipped to opening game defeat and were looking to bounce back.

At half-time we were all square at 0-0 and this game was up for grabs. In such tight games the first goal can often be decisive and so it proved here. Gabor Kiss dealt the first blow to give the Budapest Celtic Tigers a 1-0 lead. 1-0 became 2-0 when Andris Szabu doubled the lead.

That's how we finished and Budapest Celtic Tigers joined a cluster of teams at the top of Group C. FC Dad remained in 6th position but the beauty of a 6-team group is there was still time to turn things around.
