Not
only did the above result give the chasing pack
hope but it gave Argentina a chance to wrap
up Cup qualification with a game to spare. Their
next game was against Budapest Celtic Tigers.
At the start of Round 4 these teams were 1st
and 2nd so represented a top of the table clash.
A
win for either would see the victor top on their
own. A draw would see Argentina retain top-spot,
Budapest Celtic Tigers joint second with LITS
and the door opened for FC Radbroke. A defeat
would be a real blow (although not fatal) for
the Cup hopes of the loser.
We
reached the now customary half-time score of
0-0 so it was all to play for after the break.
In the end just one goal would decide it and
the goal was scored by Jakob Binder of Budapest
Celtic Tigers. It was a superb victory for them
and their reward was going top of Group C –
a point ahead of Argentina. Things were getting
very interesting.
