Round 3 started with two teams looking for their first victories on the field of play although Bayer Never Lose Em did have a point behind them as they took on Borussia Monchenhirschbach.

The biggest problem for Borussia Monchenhirschbach so far had been getting off to a good start as they'd found themselves 2-0 down by half time on each occasion. Their start here was marginally better but only marginally as they entered half-time 1-0 down to Bayer Never Lose Em. Captain Liam Kelly scored the goal for the men in red and white.

It proved to be a goal in each half for Liam Kelly which earned Bayer Never Lose Em maximum points. Kelly's best return to date in our tournaments was 3 goals in the 2009 Prague Trophy and he was well on the way to matching/overhauling that here.

The next scheduled fixture was Hasanheide Bulls versus JJs which was overshadowed by an injury to the Bulls Italian striker Nicola Enderby who required hospital treatment for a broken ankle following initial treatment from our on-site physio.

In the game itself Hasanheide Bulls completed a 3-0 win as Daniel Larsson, Mullins and Enderby himself scored before the injury. It was a footballing accident and there is no blame attached to any player – we wish Enderby well, a full recovery and hope he is back playing the beautiful game as soon as he is able to.

For what it's worth Hasanheide Bulls went top although all their focus was on their stricken team-mate.

The game that would complete Round 3 of Group D was Big Gay Al's Not SSF against DHL Prague White. The Czech side had the chance to join Hasanheide Bulls at the top of the table and if they could win by 4 goals or more would go top on goal difference. Big Gay Al's Not SSF were looking for their first points and any result here would see them occupy 5 th position on their own.

The form book suggested a DHL Prague White win and the Czechs were proving consistent as they found themselves 2-0 up at half-time for the third game in succession. Their scorers on this occasion were Obrad Achimovic and Rupert Baltrock each with their second of the day. Vincent Guerin added a third as he became his side's top goalscorer before Achimovic bagged his second of the game and rounded off a 4-0 win. DHL Prague White had secured the victory and margin of victory they needed to go top of Group D. It was back to the drawing board for Big Gay Al's Not SSF.
