Game 7 of Group B was an important fixture for both Big Gay Al's SSF and GBS Reds. The two teams were in 3rd and 4th place respectively and in striking distance of the two teams at the top – in fact, a win here for either side would send them top of the table….temporarily at least.

GBS Reds had started slowly with a defeat in the first game but bounced back with a thumping 9-2 win. They started this game where they left off in the last as Achille Anague's 5th of the day put them 1-0 up early on. Wilco Veldhuizen made it 2-0 with his 6th of the day and Anague matched that feat to make it 3-0 by half-time.

The second period was more closely matched but the damage was already done. Adam Deacon scored for Big Gay Al's SSF to spoil the GBS Reds clean sheet and Veldhuizen bagged his second of the game and 7th in two games to make it 4-1.

GBS Reds were top and on the charge. Big Gay Al's SSF would remain in 4th place despite the defeat.

Stadtrandkicker 08 were next in action as they met the unbeaten East Compton Eagles. This was a great opportunity for the Eagles to go back to the top with a win and they would be looking to better the Bafta Boys result and improve their goal difference. Stadtrandkicker 08 would be buoyed going into the game having picked up their first point in their last fixture.

The game, which could have been dubbed the battle of the Argentina shirts, was competitive and pretty close but the Eagles had the edge and they reached the interval narrowly ahead at 1-0 courtesy of a strike from Sean McCullough. In the second period it was 2-0 when Chris Catling doubled the lead. There was still time for Bren McLoughlin to put the icing on the cake and round off a fine 3-0 victory as the Eagles looked strong.

For Stadtrandkicker 08 it was proving to be a tough morning. They had a small squad and maybe this was holding them back. They still had two more group games to turn their fortunes around.

To complete Round 3 we had Bafta Boys versus FC Cobaltslautern to look forward to. Bafta Boys were thus far unbeaten with 4 points out of 6 whereas FC Cobaltslautern had 1 point out of 6. A win for Bafta Boys could see them return to the summit of Group B.

That was looking on the cards mid-way through the game as they forged a 3-1 lead with Alex Thomas's 4th goal in 3 games a bright spot for FC Cobaltslautern. At the other end they were leaking goals and by the final whistle 3-1 had become 7-1 as John Douglas claimed a hat-trick, Pete Talbot a brace with further goals from Tom Lambourne and Joe Bardwell.

The win and the margin of victory helped Bafta Boys return to the top of the table, still on goal difference, from East Compton Eagles with GBS Reds still lurking behind in 3rd. FC Cobaltslautern were bringing up the rear in 6th place.
