Telferscot FC versus Where's Dave kicked off Round 4. Telferscot FC currently resided in 6th position and needed to win both of their final fixtures to have a chance of making it through to the Plate competition. Where's Dave could put themselves in a strong position for qualification with a win here.

Where's Dave could probably consider themselves a touch unlucky to have only 3 points to show for their efforts as both their defeats came by the narrowest of margins, 1-0. Without a goal since their opener they suddenly found their goal-scoring touch again with Matthew Johnson putting Where's Dave 1-0 up. Matthew Johnson scored twice in their first game and he repeated that feat here to put his team 2-0 up. There were further similarities with their first game when Chris Weedon scored Where's Dave's third goal of the game.

Matthew Johnson has the distinction of being the only Englishman and one of three men to score a hat-trick in a eurofootballfives.com Trophy Final which he scored at the 2012 Valencia Fives. The other two men by the way are Slovakia's Matej Rapcan (Ziar Crew) and Spain's Jair Moralez (Equipo de Cristhian). Johnson was on the hat-trick trail again here as he scored the fourth in Where's Dave's 4-0 victory.

The result helped consolidate Where's Dave in fourth position and meant Telferscot FC could no longer qualify from the group phase.

The next fixture was the all-Portuguese encounter between FLX and Futsal Peoes. These two teams lead the way with 100% records so far. Obviously, one or potentially both of these teams would lose that record at the end of this fixture.

Both teams had been magnificent this morning and it was going to be difficult to pick a winner. Both teams had scored 10 goals but the difference was FLX had conceded 1 goal compared to 0 conceded by Futsal Peoes.

The winner of this game would almost certainly win Group B. A draw would take it down to the wire in Round 5 and also give Jims40yearoldveg a chance to close the gap. We expected a close game but it proved to be a little more one sided than we anticipated.

Futsal Peoes added another 3 goals without reply to their tally. Vando scored the first two of the game before Jorge put the icing on the cake. Final score, 3-0.

Peebles All Stars went into their fourth game looking for their first win of the day. If they could get it here and win their final game then a place in the Plate was still very much on the table (subject to other results going their way). Jims40yearoldveg knew a win would guarantee a place in the Plate as the bare minimum and give them a springboard to potentially qualify for the Cup.

Peebles All Stars continued to fight and battle despite results not going their way this morning. They matched their opponents blow for blow here and took the lead through Dominic Finn. Jims40yearoldveg managed to pull it back to 1-1 when Mitch Pryke equalized. That's exactly how it finished.

It was great for Peebles All Stars to get their first point. However, in the context of the Group B table the draw didn't really help either side. Missing out on victory meant that Peebles All Stars could now no longer finish higher than fifth. The draw for Jims40yearoldveg kept them in third position above Where's Dave and closed the gap on FLX to 2 points but Cup qualification was now out of their hands.
