Northern Town FC secure debut win over Poland's Bulota PK

The 8th September was a historic day or as it marked our debut in Gdansk. The tournament commemorated our 100th tournament across Europe and we'd like to thank all the teams who have supported us over the years.

In Gdansk we had 24 teams from England, France, Lithuania and across Poland battling it out for honours. We reached the Cup Semi-Finals with all 4 nations still in with a chance of glory. The A Team of France who have been runners up before (2013 Krakow Trophy, 2015 Bratislava Fives), Lilchicago of Lithuania who had also been runners-up before (2017 Vilnius Tournament) plus debutants Bulota PK (Pol) and Northern Town FC (Eng).

After the final shake up it was Northern Town FC who were victorious after a penalty shoot-out versus Bulota PK. Huge conratulations to the English team.

In the Plate competition, FC Shark followed up their 2017 Mallorca Fives Plate win with the 2018 Gdansk Tournament Plate. Could they make it a Plate hat-trick in 2019?

The Trophy Final saw success for Audley Witney who produced a 5-2 win over Hotpockets (Ire) to end the day on a high!

Personal honours went to Ireland's Pa O'Brien who scored a stunning 15 goals on the day. Very well done to him.

A big thank you to all 24 teams for what was a superb weekend. See you all soon.
