Deportivo Dooradoyle (Ire) made their debut in our events at the 2011 Amsterdam Fives. They reached the Plate Quarter-Finals with success over Goals Aloud (Wal). In the Semi-Finals they were victorious 3-1 over CEPL of Holland (who'd later become 2012 Amsterdam Fives winners) before a narrow defeat in the final to Rigford Seahawks (also 2009 Krakow Trophy & 2012 Berlin Fives Cup winners and 2009 Prague Trophy Plate winners). In the 2012 Algarve Open they drew a tough group and finished 4th to make the Plate again. Their day ended against French side CFC B at the Quarter-Final stage on this occasion.

In 2013, Barcelona was their destination of choice where they had a very successful day – they entered two teams and won both the Plate and Trophy competitions. Berlin was the destination of choice for 2014 and it was almost more success as they reached the Plate Final again. A tough fought 0-0 draw lead to a penalty shoot-out but Scandittack FC of Germany won the shoot-out 2-0. They competed at the 2015 Algarve Open where two injury ravaged squads finished 5th and 6th in their groups before a Wooden Spoon win and a Plate Quarter-Finals defeat.

At the 2015 Barcelona Fives, they looked to repeat their Barcelona success of 2013 when they competed as Depo Legends (Ire) and The Alabama Hotpockets (Ire). Depo Legends won two and lost two to finish third in Group D and qualify for the Plate. They defeated Saladmode FC 2-1 in the Quarter-Finals before their day was ended (1-0) by Hardly Athletic. The Alabama Hotpockets were sensational in the group phase with 3 wins and 1 draw to top Group C with 10 points. In the Cup, they defeated Freshers FC (2-1) and then drew with Elcombe Old Boys 1-1. They won 3-2 on penalties against the team who would be champions 12 months later. The Alabama Hotpockets just ran out of steam against Club Esportiu Llefia when they went down 5-0 in the Cup Final.

2017 saw a third trip to the Barcelona Fives where they competed with 2 teams again – Deportivo Dooradoyle and Deportivo 2.0. The former finished 7th of 8 teams in Group A. Deportivo 2.0 produced 4 wins as they claimed 4th position in Group D. They qualified for the Plate but went out 3-2 to Krakowcaine.

Here in Gdansk in 2018 they chalked up win #2 as goals from Kevin Shine and Neil Timothy secured a 2-0 win over Bialoazzuri FC (Pol).

Game 8 of Group A was FC Shark versus The A Team. The A Team had been the main losers of the fixture re-arrangements. They hadn't played since game 2 of the group so hopefully they would not prove to be rusty. They would need to be at their best as they were up against an unbeaten FC Shark team who had 4 points from a possible 6.

The wait did not appear to have done The A Team any harm at all. They won their first game 2-0 and the team from Paris were soon about to repeat that feat. Randy Tchutio and Abdesslem Bekhouche were the men to score in the first game. They were also the men to score here.

The French team's defence was solid at the other end so they got full value for their goals. The 2-0 win put them level at the top of the table with Monaco Tiny Gdanskers and Deportivo Dooradoyle but with a game in hand.

To complete Round 3 was Audley London FC versus Bialoazzuri FC. Both teams needed the points to surge up the table. Audley London FC had 0 from 2 games, Bialoazzuri FC had 1 from 3 games. The two teams produced a cracker of a game for all those watching.

It was Audley London who drew first blood with a strike from Josh Tough. It was the first time they had lead today. Bialoazzuri FC were yet to score today but that was soon to change as Marco Yanime opened his team's account to make it 1-1.

Audley London FC were to restore their lead as Harry Musson scored his second goal of the tournament and his team's second of the game. Once again, Bialoazzuri hit back. It was Marco Yanime who equalized to make it 2-2.

The game was not over yet as we would have a fifth and decisive goal. Richard Harrison would score the goal that would earn Bialoazzuri FC a fine 3-2 victory.
