Going into the final round of games it was do or die now for the final five teams still in action. First up was Fail Madrid versus Bede FC. Fail Madrid needed just a point to secure fourth position and a place in the Plate. Bede FC were embarking on the first of their two games in the final round of fixtures. Bede FC could secure a place in the Plate themselves with 4 points from those two games.

It was Fail Madrid who hit the front with a goal from James Boshier. Rob Maller doubled the lead before Neil Hargraves made it 3-0.

Bede FC were yet to score today but they broke their duck thanks to Rob McLennon. Alas for Bede FC it would ultimately prove to be a consolation as the scoring in this game was completed by Rob Maller who made it 4-1.

Fail Madrid would qualify for the Plate. Bede FC would qualify for the Trophy.

The penultimate game would be RAF Fylingdales versus FC Maroon. This was a straight shootout for second position and the second Cup qualification berth. The two teams were locked together on 9 points from a possible 12. As things stood FC Maroon needed just a draw as they had a goal difference of 11-4. RAF Fylingdales had a goal difference of 8-6 so had to win.

FC Maroon were bidding to qualify for the Cup for the second successive tournament having won their group at the 2017 Mallorca Fives. Things started off well as they established a 2-0 lead thanks to goals from Max Hill and Matt Alawi.

The pendulum of the game then swung the other way as Jim Williams pulled a goal back for RAF Fylingdales. The comeback was complete when Adam Brennan equalized. Leigh Webb then put RAF Fylingdales 3-2 up before Adam Brennan gave them a cushion at 4-2.

The game was not over yet as James Smith bagged his third of the tournament to make it 4-3. Time ran out for FC Maroon as they slipped to third position to qualify for the Plate. Well done to RAF Fylingdales who finished in a lofty second position.

The final game of Group B was The Crazy Gang versus Bede FC. Both teams knew they would be competing in the Trophy Quarter-Finals this afternoon as they were 4 points adrift of fourth position. However, a win would give the victors a boost going into the knockout phase and secure fifth position. Fifth position would, theoretically, secure an easier QF tie.

As things stood it was The Crazy Gang who occupied fifth position as they had the superior goal difference so should the game end in a draw then they would retain fifth spot. These two teams had history as they had met before at the 2017 Vilnius Tournament in Group D. On that occasion Bede FC won 1-0 thanks to a goal from Dom McLeod who was in the Bede FC line up today.

Here in Poland, it was Phil Lockwood-Taylor who scored his fourth goal of the tournament for The Crazy Gang. It took their goal tally to 10 goals for the day which was more goals in the group phase in Poland than their previous 5 group campaigns put together.

The goal would not be enough to earn The Crazy Gang all 3 points though as Bede FC's Dom McLeod came back to haunt them. He scored last year and was on target this year too. Final score, 1-1.
