Porto - 'Portugal's second city', set picturesquely astride the River Douro in Northern Portugal – becomes our 3rd destination in Portugal and our 17th in Europe. This fascinating and vibrant city is rapidly becoming one of Western Europe's most sought-after city-break locations.

Porto is a contradiction in that it is an old historic city but also a young and lively city (especially at night). By day you can explore the cobbled medieval streets and by night enjoy your beers as people spill out onto the streets from the bustling pubs and bars. Once you hit midnight, the club scene comes alive as you party until breakfast.

The eurofootballfives Veterans Tournament is a moveable feast with the veritable delights of Lisbon (2013, 2016, 2022), Mallorca (2014, 2017, 2023, 2024), the Algarve (2015, 2018), Alicante (2019) and Prague (2024).

For the 2025 edition of the tournament we will be heading to a new destination – Porto!

Porto is an exceptional destination for our Veterans (35+) football tour, offering a unique blend of thrilling sports culture, rich history, and a fantastic nightlife. Known for its love of football, Porto is home to FC Porto, one of Europe's most storied clubs with the famous Estadio do Dragao – why not take a tour of the stadium during your visit?

If you love your football set against a backdrop of sun, beach, sea, good climate and not to mention a cracking nightlife then Lisbon is a great choice for your tour. We debuted in the Portuguese capital in 2013 and since then have been honoured with teams representing Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, England, France, Hungary, Ireland, Morocco, the Netherlands, Northern Ireland, Poland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Switzerland and Ukraine. Brazil's Pangere Futebol Clube were crowned champions at the last edition of the competition.

Lisbon's nightlife is generally considered to be amongst the best in Europe. The night in Lisbon starts at sunset and goes on until dawn - definitely not to be missed. The nightlife is concentrated around the Barrio Alto area and more recently the emerging Docas area - both are superb.

On the 15th July 2017 eurofootballfives.com took a break from tradition and added our first sixes tournament to the calendar. It was a very popular decision and the tournament has sold out every edition since.

We are heading back for a seventh edition of this popular event on the 5th July 2025.

Amsterdam is always at the top of most people's lists as the ideal venue for a football tour. A cheap, short flight from the UK and a nightlife that promises oh so many things. Remember, what goes on tour stays on tour.

We've operated Fives tournaments in Amsterdam since 2008, introduced the Sixes in 2017 and the natural progression was to debut our first ever Sevens tournament for 2022.

What a success it proved to be! So much so that the Amsterdam Sevens immediately returned in 2023 & 2024 and is back again in 2025! The event has sold out every year so get in quick to bag your space at this popular event.

The Amsterdam Fives and Sevens will operate side-by-side in a fantastic festival of football in the Dutch capital. Since 2017 we had teams from Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, England, France, Germany, Israel, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Wales play across the our events (5-, 6- and 7-aside).

Yes - it's back!! Due to popular demand the Krakow Trophy has returned to the eurofootballfives.com schedule as a 6-a-side event for 2025. The tournament has been a resounding success as a Fives, Veterans and Sevens event and we can't wait to head back to this great city in 2024 for a festival of 6-a-side football.
