Veterans
teams are classified as those teams aged 35+.
Each squad is permitted two players aged 30-34
within their squad.
The
eurofootballfives Veterans Tournament is a moveable
feast with the veritable delights of Lisbon (2013,
2016, 2022), Mallorca (2014, 2017, 2023, 2024),
the Algarve (2015, 2018), Alicante (2019), Prague
(2024) and Porto (2025).
For
the 2026 edition, by popular demand, the tournament
will be heading back to Lisbon!

Format:
2 groups of 6 teams will
play in the group stages. The top two teams progress
to the Cup which will then be played on a knockout
basis. The teams placed third and fourth will
progress to the Plate which will also be played
on a knockout basis.
* Female players are permitted but it is not a
mixed tournament per se. Female players will likely
play against all male teams. |
