We
went into Game 8 of Group C with Trinacria A
due to meet Tysers. Both teams could feel a
little bit stunned that they had no points to
show for some decent performances so far. Trinacria
A had played 2 tournament winners from last
year. Tysers had played a previous tournament
winner and the team who were top with a maximum
9 points.
I
am sure, with all due respect to their opposition,
these two teams felt it was a chance to get
some points on the board and ignite their tournament
challenge. It was the Belgian team who hit the
front as Aldo Urso scored his team's first goal
of the day. It was the only goal of the first
period.
Could
Tysers hit back? If they were then they would
have to do it from 2-0 down as Gaetano Intriglillo
doubled the lead for the Belgian team.
Trinacria
A went on to keep a first clean sheet of the
day and claim a first victory. The league table
was looking much better for them.
