The first game of Round 2 saw PPB taking on Spider Mans & Eagle. Portugal had lead the way after Round 1 with PPB and Boa Hora both taking 3 points from their games. Spider Mans & Eagle had started off with a solid point having come from behind in their opening game. Could they take that momentum into this fixture?

It didn't turn out that way as they fell behind for the second game in a row. Bruno Paco had opened the scoring for PPB against The Crazy Gang and he repeated the feat here against The Spider Mans & Eagle. It was 1-0 at half-time to the home time.

In the second half Bruno Paco added to his tally and became the second man to score a hat-trick for PPB as he repeated Alvaro Magallias' achievement from Round 1. PPB had kept a clean sheet against The Crazy Gang but they were to concede their first of the day as Liam Angel converted a penalty for Spider Mans & Eagle.

Angel's goal could not prevent PPB completing a 3-1 victory and PPB were looking good with a maximum 6 points and 8 goals to their name already.

The Crazy Gang had suffered a 5-0 defeat to Portuguese opposition in Round 1 and they were up against Portuguese opposition again in Round 2. This time they would meet Boa Hora. Boa Hora came into this game on the back of a 3-0 win and had the incentive of going joint top if they could make it two wins out of two.

It was the team from Portugal who struck first as Javi claimed his first goal of the day. Javi was proving to be the danger man for the Crazy Gang as he made it 2-0. When the half-time whistle blew Boa Hora were in full command of this game. Their position went from strength to strength after the break as The Crazy Gang were unable to shackle Javi. Javi completed his hat-trick and then made it 4-0. That was the end of the scoring for Javi but not for Boa Hora. Diogo Bento made it 5-0 before Rafael Flaguerias (hat-trick in Round 1) grabbed his fourth of the tournament and made the final score 6-0.

It was a good start to the tournament for Boa Hora but The Crazy Gang had experienced a difficult morning to date.

The final game of Round 2 was BUILDers versus Two Balls One Touch.

Both these teams were now set to kick-off their second match of the day and in eurofootballfives.com competition. BUILDers had fared better in the opening round of games having lead Spider Mans & Eagle before being pegged back and having to settle for a draw. Two Balls One Touch fell victim to the Portuguese onslaught at the start of Group B.

Joe Clark had scored BUILDers first European goal under their belt and he scored their second. The first had not won them all 3 points but his second set them on their way for their breakthrough victory. Darren Sooprayen doubled the lead for BUILDers before half-time and made it 2-0 in their pursuit of three points.

After the break James Pomeroy added a third goal and BUILDers first win was well and truly in the bag. They moved into third position and were the leading English side in Group B. Two Balls One Touch chalked a second game off to experience and had three more group games to get their Lisbon Tournament challenge on track.
