So, onto Round 5 we go and the last attempts for the teams to stake their claim for the title, Cup qualification or Plate qualification. First up was Fidelidade against Ealing Expendables.

For Fidelidade they could play without any pressure as they had already secured not only Cup qualification but also the Group A table. We are sure they would not take their foot off the gas though as they had two proud records to maintain – a 100% win record and zero goals conceded so far.

As you can see Ealing Expendables had formidable opponents to face and they needed a victory to make the Cup (combined with defeats for Spider Mans & Great Hawk and Indoorsoccer). The odds were against them but let's see how they got on…

If their task was tough pre-kick off it was even tougher with the game underway as Alexandre Pinto added to his tally to give Fidelidade a 1-0 half-time lead. Ealing Expendables now had to score twice against a team that was yet to see it's net bulge in the 2015 Lisbon Tournament. Fidelidade went 2-0 up and then 3-0 up (both goals by their number 5) to secure victory and cap a superb morning's performance.

Ealing Expendables would qualify for this afternoon's Plate competition.

Indoor Soccer went into their final fixture needing victory against Where's Dave? Where's Dave? were 4 points adrift at the foot of the table and so a win would be academic in terms of the group standings but would be a huge confidence boost going into the Trophy Quarter-Finals.

If Indoorsoccer they would virtually guarantee Cup qualification as they would move on to 10 points. They could still be caught by Spider Mans & Great Hawk but their superior goal difference would give them one foot into the Cup competition.

The two teams were level, 0-0, at the break and a draw was really not what Indoorsoccer wanted. If it was to finish this way a positive result in the final game of Group A would see them miss out on the Cup and fall into the Plate. They had one half of football left and the pressure was building.

In the second half it was Francisco Almeida who scored the goal that Indoorsoccer craved. The goal proved to be enough as they ran out 1-0 victors and qualification was almost theirs….but not yet guaranteed.

The 15th and final game of Group A was Spider Mans & Great Hawk versus Frank Hirth A. The two teams currently sat in third and fourth position. Indoorsoccer's win in the previous game had ended Frank Hirth A's Cup qualification hopes. Frank Hirth A needed the minimum of a draw to guarantee Plate qualification and anything less would mean proceeding to the Trophy.

For Spider Man's & Great Hawk it was a simple – they had to win the game to finish joint 2nd and then it would come down to goal difference. Indoorsoccer finished with a goal difference of +2, Spider Man's & Great Hawk were currently on -2 so they needed a big win in order to advance to the Cup.

At half-time we were no closer to knowing the final team who would qualify for the Cup with Fidelidade. Spider Mans & Great Hawk was leading 1-0 thanks to an Andy Cook strike but they still had plenty of work to do. A Richard Eggleston solo goal helped their cause but a Harry Klingenspor strike for Frank Hirth A certainly didn't. It was a milestone goal as Klingenspor recorded his 10th goal in 12 games in eurofootballfives.com competition.

The final score was 2-1 to Spider Mans & Great Hawk and it meant Indoorsoccer would qualify for the Cup, Spider Mans & Great Hawk would go through to the Plate and Frank Hirth A would go through to the Trophy.
