Group C entered it's climactic stages with all teams having just one more chance to secure their destiny in the 2013 Mallorca Tournament. First up was AB Kirby FC versus Peluqeria Styl. AB Kirby were looking like they would be going to the Plate but if they could win and move on to 7 points then a place in the Cup if other results in this Group (and others) went their way. The Spanish team's task was much more simple – they only needed a point to claim the Group C title.

Peluqeria Styl started like a draw was never on their radar as they motored into a 3-0 lead by half-time. Diego Rodriguez, Jonathan Gil Munoz and Gabriel Caldentey Boadas all scored for the Spanish team. There was no way back for AB Kirby FC and in fact Peluqeria Styl extended their lead in the second half through Hector Avraha. The game finished 4-0.

Congratulations to Peluqeria Styl who won Group C and won their 6-team group for the second year in a row. They were a team to look out for in the Cup knock-out phase. AB Kirby FC would progress to the Plate competition.

The task facing El A Dees was exactly the same as that of AB Kirby before their final game. El A Dees looked like they would be going to the Plate but if they could win and move on to 7 points then a place in the Cup could be theirs if other results in this Group (and others) went their way

Sportsman Arenal could finish no better than second in Group C but they could be caught by Tommy's Tits if they lost and the Tits had a big win in their last game. In that scenario it was still possible for Sportsman Arenal to miss out on the Cup. It was unlikely but the Sportsman still had a job to do to absolutely guarantee their place in the elite Cup competition.

El A Dees were a quality team who had not quite shown their true form so far in this tournament. However, 4 points from the last possible 6 suggested that form may be coming back. The first half of this game showed the El A Dees of last year's Amsterdam tournament and they matched Sportsman Arenal blow for blow.

El A Dees reached half time all square at 2-2 thanks to goals from Oliver Wood and Jack Dungworth. In the second half though the Spanish based team forged ahead for 3-2 and then secured the win 4-2. Sportsman Arenal's goals came from Lee Baines, Chris Barr and two more for Ruben Drober. Drober was now on 8 goals for the tournament.

The result confirmed Sportsman Arenal's status in the Cup and also confirmed El A Dees would be playing Plate football this afternoon.

So we just had the matter of Tommy's Tits versus Whiteley Bad Boys to complete all the action in Group C. The result would change nothing in terms of the final league places but could still have a bearing on the two teams qualification places.

For Tommy's Tits, a loss would mean they would go into the Plate competition as the third best third placed team. A draw would mean the same as they would be level with Son Gual on points in Group A but would miss out on goal difference. Tommy's Tits had to win.

For Whiteley Bad Boys they would finish 6th regardless but any form of positive result would mean they qualify for the Plate as the other 6th placed teams yielded no points from their 5 group games. A defeat may also be enough but as long as it was not too heavy to severely hurt their goal difference.

With the game underway Tommy's Tits got off to the start they needed as they would take a 1-0 lead into the break. As the game went on Tommy's Tits made their progress more and more comfortable as they extended their lead to 2-0, 3-0 and finally 4-0. Their twin goal-scoring heroes to date were at it again as Jeremy Barton and Adam Hutchings each bagged a brace. They also secured Cup football into the bargain.

For Whiteley Bad Boys the result, much to their surprise, was enough to see them make the Plate as their goal difference was better than that of Arenal Vets and Abertawe All Blacks.
