Whiteley Bad Boys had the worst possible start with a 6-0 defeat so they would want to put that result to bed and turn things around quickly. Their opponents in Round 2 would be AB Kirby FC. Kirby had also lost in the opening round but by the more narrow score of 3-2. Both teams had lost to Spanish opposition.

The scoring was opened in this tie by Chris Williams for AB Kirby FC. Sam Humphreys then doubled the lead before half-time to put the men from Liverpool in charge. Barry William Flynn made it 3-0 after the break and three goals meant three points for AB Kirby FC.

AB Kirby FC were now on their way. Whiteley Bad Boys were struggling but it was still early.

Tommy's Tits and Sportsman Arenal went into their second games both looking for win number two and to continue their positive starts to the tournament.

Tommy's Tits were a team that formed part of the Tom Hutchings stag weekend and seemed more accomplished than many stag teams we see. However, they were unable to match Sportsman Arenal in this tie as the locally based team established a 2-0 lead by the break. In the second half they were to score but unable to dent the Sportsmen's two goal lead as the game ended 4-2.

It was a game of doubles as Jeremy Barton bagged a double for Tommy's Tits. There was a double double for Sportsman Arenal as Ruben Drober and Diego Medines both hit two.

The win put Sportsman Arenal on top and they were looking in fine form.

We finished off Round 2 with El A Dees versus Peluqeria Styl. The latter had looked good in Round 1 but El A Dees were slow to start. The English team started this one much better and held their own for the opening period. The teams entered the break all square at 0-0.

After a Cup QF and a Cup Final in their last two eurofootballfives.com appearances we are sure El A Dees would have aspirations of Cup qualification again so they would probably need to get something from this game even if it was a draw. They fell behind after the break to Peluqeria Styl number 9 Jonathan Gil Munoz.

If Peluqeria could hold on for victory they would join Sportsman Arenal at the top of Group C. They did more than hold on as Alvaro Jaume Zubillaga scored twice to make the game safe at 3-0. They led the table on goal difference.
