The first game of Round 2 saw Have Ago Heroes meet Abertawe All Blacks. Both teams had tasted defeat in their opening fixtures so would be determined to get their first points on the board here.

The Have Ago Heroes had suffered only a narrow loss in the opening game and it hadn't looked to dent their confidence as they set about avenging that loss with aplomb. They put it a great first half performance and no-one more so than front man Rob Millington who bagged a hat-trick. It wasn't all one way traffic though as Abertawe All Blacks scored their first goal on tour through Ian Colfer and it was 3-1 at half-time.

In the second half Have Ago Heroes extended their lead through Jordan Passey to 4-1 and complete a fine victory. Their 2013 Mallorca Tournament campaign was off and running.

It was due to be an all-Spanish affair in Game 5 as Son Gual took on Es Marges. However a little mix-up meant Inter Women took to the field a game early in place of Son Gual. The referee hadn't realised the men in black were not Son Gual so kicked off and only noticed when the first goal was scored as he went to note down the goal.

We'd started so we'd finished as Inter Women took on Es Marges in a change to the advertised fixtures. It was proving to be a good game and with both teams winning in Round 1 another win here would put them firmly in control of Group A. Half-time came and went with no score.

We were to bear witness to goals in the second half though and it was Daniel Powell who scored his fifth of the day to give Inter Women the 1-0 lead. Neil Pennington opened his personal account for the day to make it 2-0 and with that the game was all over.

Inter Women won it 2-0 and moved top of the table on their own.

Due to the mix-up above the only option we really had was to directly switch the Son Gual versus Es Marges and Inter Women versus Es Marges fixtures around and play all other fixtures as originally scheduled. This meant that Inter Women were due on straight away against Hutchy's Heroes.

Could Hutchy's Heroes take advantage of the fixture list? Would Inter Women be tired coming into the game or just warmed up? The Powell brothers showed no sign of tiredness as they each scored in the opening period for a 2-0 lead. It was Daniel Powell's 6 th of the tournament. The young man already had the 2011 Amsterdam Fives and 2012 Mallorca Tournament golden boot awards stashed away. A third award was looking a distinct possibility at this stage.

After the break Neil Pennington scored his second in as many games to make it 3-0 and seal another three points. For Hutchy's Heroes it was two defeats in two games but there were 3 games left so all was not lost.

Due to the re-arrangement in fixtures the table had a funny look to it with Inter Women playing more than anyone else but it was happy reading for them as they had a 6 point lead at the top.
