Whiteley
Bad Boys would next be in action against El
A Dees. The two teams were at the foot of the
table and were in desperate need of points.
The pressure was really on as the games progressed.
The two teams went at it in the first half but
were locked together at 0-0.
El
A Dees were below par today by their own admission
but, like Cheesecake FC in Group B, if they
could sneak into the Cup who knows what could
happen in the knock-out phase with their form
and confidence regained. To do so they had to
win this one. A draw was no good for either
side and would keep them in 5th /6th position.
We
were to get a winner in this fixture and it
was Chris Kay of El A Dees who struck the killer
blow. El A Dees had a lifeline, could they take
advantage in the next two games.
Whiteley
Bad Boys were in need of a change of luck and
change of results as they were arguably the
strongest team in Group C….they must be….they
were holding up the rest.
