As we entered the final Round of games it was do or die for the teams in reaching the knock-out stages. Red Cow Belgrade must have wondered how they only had 5 points from their games so far but it meant their fate was out of their own hands. All they could do was win their last game, move onto 8 points and into 2nd place and hope other results would go their way.

Hungary Hungary Heggos would need a win to have any hope of continuing their day. They would need to win and hope 3 points would be enough to make them the best 6th placed finishers and make the Plate Quarter-Finals.

The result went against the form book and it was Hungary Hungary Heggos who emerged victorious, 2-1. Tommy Fennelly and Michael Danaher bagged the goals that earned them their first win of the day. Tom Goyski scored the goal for Red Cow Belgrade.

As it turned out it was too late for Hungary Hungary Heggos as they missed out on the best 6th placed finish on goal difference. They were out of the tournament. Red Cow Belgrade's day would continue though as they had qualified for the Plate.

Budapest Celtic Pumas met The Milf Hunters. The Milf Hunters would play in the Plate regardless of the result here as if they won the best they could do was finish 4th. For Budapest Celtic Pumas a win would seal their progress to the Cup, a draw would see them 2nd or one of the 3rd place qualifiers. Defeat would only be good enough if Rigford Seahawks Omega also lost – certainly not out of the question as their last match was against Team Bear.

The beauty for the Pumas was that their fate was in their own hands. They got an early goal in the first half to settle their nerves through Krisztian Farkas' 4th goal of the day. In the end that goal was to be enough as there was no further addition to the score.

The result ensured safe passage for Budapest Celtic Pumas and The Milf Hunters to the Cup and Plate respectively.

That left us with Team Bear versus Rigford Seahawks Omega to wrap up Group C. Team Bear had already sealed the Group C title so only had pride to play for and their 100% record to maintain. The stakes were much higher for Rigford Seahawks Omega who needed a point from their last game to secure a place in the Cup as one of the best 3rd place finishes. A defeat would see them miss out but surely be amongst the favourites for the Plate should that happen.

The first half came and went with the scores level at 0-0. The result suited the Seahawks and if they could keep this up they were through. Another half of football later and we still had no goals to show for our efforts and we finished all square at 0-0. It didn't really matter though and Rigford Seahawks Omega joined Team Bear in the Cup.
