The first game of Round 2 saw Bozeat All Stars take on Rigford Seahawks Alpha. Bozeat All Stars were hoping to build upon a fine opening game victory whilst Rigford Seahawks needed to hit back after opening defeat.

We were treated to a highly entertaining game which ebbed and flowed. It was first blood to the Seahawks as Tom Freer gave his side the lead. Marty Legg equalized for Bozeat All Stars and we went into half-time level at 1-1.

After the break Rigford Seahawks Alpha went ahead again courtesy of Tom Hallam. Bozeat All Stars hit back for a second time as Dan Bayes made it 2-2. The Seahawks forged ahead again as Hallam claimed his second of the game to make it 3-2.

On this occasion there was no time for Bozeat All Stars to hit back and Rigford Seahawks Alpha ran out 3-2 winners.

Next up was BBFC2 against Budapest Celtic Lions. The former needed the points to open their account whilst the Lions could go top of the table with a positive result for them.

The game proved extremely tight and Budapest Celtic Lions lead by the narrowest of margins at half-time 1-0 courtesy of a goal from Sanj. Jani Bart in the Lions goal was on his way to a second clean sheet as the Hungarian team thwarted the BBFC2 attacks and completed their second win on the bounce.

Budapest Celtic Lions were top of the tree, BBFC2 remained 6th.

Meglapetes and Los Langeros had the opportunity to climb the table when they next met. For Meglapetes they could join Budapest Celtic Lions at the top and make it a Hungarian 1-2 at the top of Group B. Los Langeros could register their first points and move up to third with a win.

Los Langeros lost their first game and they were to fall behind in this one too to a Gabor Toth strike. It remained 1-0 until half time and after the break 1-0 became 2-0 when Norbert Savvnoh claimed his second goal in as many games.

The win sent Meglapetes top of the table on goal difference thanks to being free-scoring in attack (5 in 2 games) and tight at the back with Balint Kobas yet to concede. For Los Langeros they were in 5th place looking for their first points.
