Last but not least, we come to Group C where the group began with Red Cow Belgrade versus The Milf Hunters. Red Cow Belgrade were on debut for eurofootballfives.com but had previous European experience and success when they'd won in Amsterdam.

The Milf Hunters were the second squad of Los Langeros and were enjoying the tournament for Owen O Sullivan's stag weekend. It was the Milf Hunters who took the lead in this one with David Long opening the account for the team from Ireland.

Red Cow Belgrade were back on level terms before half-time when Kev Roome equalised. So, it was 1-1 at the break and all to play for in the second half. Nick Howitt scoring the first and only goal of the second period and it was they who claimed all 3 points.

Match 2 in Group C saw Ireland versus England again as Hungary Hungary Heggos take on Rigford Seahawks Omega. The Hungary Hungary Heggos were the sister squad of The Puskas Dolls in Group A and part of the group that were Runners-Up in the 2012 Valencia Fives Cup Final.

Rigford Seahawks were making their 5th eurofootballfives.com appearance and it was the second time they were appearing with two squads. The last time this happened was the 2011 Amsterdam Fives tournament where the Omega squad went on to lift the Plate title (1-0 over Irish team Deportivo Dooradoyle).

Could the Hungary Hungary Heggos avenge that defeat for their countrymen two years ago. In short, no, we had the same 1-0 scoreline as Alex Harding produced the goal that separated the two teams and got them off to a successful start.

The last two teams to get underway were Budapest Celtic Pumas of Hungary versus Team Bear. The Pumas were the third of the Budapest Celtic squads in this tournament and had a hugely successful 2012 Barcelona Fives tournament just two winning their group and going out in the Cup Semi-Finals by Golden Goal. In Budapest 12 months ago they were not quite as successful finishing 4th in their group before another Semi-Final exit, in the Plate this time, losing 3-2 to Csabagyongye.

Team Bear were on full eurofootballfives.com debut and they started well when James Gill gave them a 1-0 lead at half-time. After the break the team from England increased their lead as James Gill bagged his brace. Billy Saunders added to that tally and they were on their way to all 3 points. Tibor found the net for Budapest Celtic Pumas but, alas for them, it was to be a mere consolation in a losing cause.

Team Bear claimed all 3 points and hit the top spot on goal difference.
