Round 3 started with Red Cow Belgrade taking on Team Bear. Both teams were unbeaten and would dearly love that to continue. Team Bear had a 100% record and were aiming to make that 3 wins out of 3.

It was a top of the table clash and the second such encounter for Red Cow Belgrade. They drew 0-0 in their lost such match with Rigford Seahawks Omega. This game was proving equally tough but there were goals in it. The first half ended 1-1 with Martin Abrey (Red Cow Belgrade) and Billy Saunders (Team Bear) both finding the net.

The match was to bear witness to a win if you excuse the pun and the winning blow was struck by Simon Hanover to earn Team Bear's 3rd win on the bounce. They were top of the table and 5 points clear. Things were going very well indeed for them.

It was 3rd versus 4th when Rigford Seahawks Omega and Budapest Celtic Pumas met in the game that took us past the half-way mark in Group C. Rigford Seahawks were hitherto unbeaten. The Pumas came into the game on the back of a fine 4-0 victory and maybe finding their feet.

The Pumas continued their form from Round 2 and Krisztian gave them a 1-0 lead at the break. After the break he bagged his second and at 2-0 the Pumas were looking good and the Omega unbeaten record was in serious danger. If it was in danger at 2-0 it was all over at 3-0 when Farkas completed the scoring for 3-0.

It was a superb victory for Budapest Celtic Pumas who had scored 7 without conceding in their last two games. They were up into 2nd place and dealt a blow to one of their closest challengers. It was an unexpected scoreline for Rigford Seahawks Omega who would need to put this result behind them with two more games to come.

The Milf Hunters and Hungary Hungary Heggos met in an all-Ireland contest between the teams in 5th and 6th position. With only two games left to come this was a vital match to get the campaigns underway and get their first points on the board.

The Milf Hunters took the lead through David Long. They led 1-0 in their first game and soon got pegged back by Red Cow Belgrade. In this game they were able to extend their lead to 2-0 through Jonathan Dwyer. The Milf Hunters looked like they were on their way to their first three points of the day. They strengthened their position to make it 3-0 when David Long struck his second of the game.

It was a fine 3-0 win and the Milf Hunters were now only a point off 3rd position and they were right back in the mix in Group C. For Hungary Hungary Heggos the picture was not quite so rosy in 6th position.
