Our
17th ever Trophy Final now awaited us and our
7th consecutive in Barcelona. The history of
the Trophy competition in Barcelona was as follows.
We had been treated to some superb Finals before.

finals: 2012 Valencia Fives Trophy – Runners-Up.
As
you can see above, FC Dad had been at this stage
before albeit some 7 years ago. They were involved
in quite a game with Sporting Abeergut. They
were trailing 3-1 to a Matt Johnson hat-trick
in the late stages of the game when goalkeeper
Stuart Leslie left his position in goal and
turned in a second goal for FC Dad to reduce
arrears 3-2. FC Dad then put on a great late
rally to try and force and equalizer and send
the game into penalties. It was a highlight
and .one of the most memorable moments in our
tournaments over the years.
