FC Miracle v Club Esportiu Llefia was the battle between two former eurofootballfives.com winners.

It was third time lucky for FC Miracle at the 2012 Valencia Fives when they powered their way to a first eurofootballfives.com victory. FC Miracle got off to a flyer winning their first four games of the tournament (6-3, 3-2, 5-1 and 6-1) until an upset in their final game (3-0 to Mestallaban) but they still won their group. They were back to winning ways in the Quarter-Finals, 4-2 v Saga Louts and then in the Semis with a 4-1 win over Alphasights. They gained their revenger on Mestallaban with a 4-0 Cup Final win.

Club Esportiu Llefia won on debut at the 2015 Barcelona Fives and it was quite a debut. They emerged from Group B as winners with 2 wins and 2 draws. They then embarked on a winning run to glory with a 3-2 Quarter-Final win over Walthamstow Warriors. A 4-0 Semi-Final win over North London in the Semi-Finals meant they would meet the Alabama Hotpockets in the Cup Final. It was a sensational performance in the Final that saw them run out 5-0 winners with a particularly strong second half. They also boasted the tournament's top goalscorer as Alfred Jimenez De Andres scored 9 in 7 games.

Here at the 2019 Barcelona Fives a cagey first half finished 0-0. In the second half the game exploded into life with Laszlo Zsolt and Renato Gaspar putting the Hungarians 2-0 up. Club Esportiu Llefia pulled one back but FC Miracle sealed the 3-1 win thanks to Laszlo Alexy.

Paralytic Athletic and FC Dad took to the field as we brought Round 2 to a close. Paralytic Athletic had taken a good point from their first game against FC Miracle and were now looking to kick on. FC Dad were hoping to put Round 1's 4-0 defeat behind them and put a win on the board.

Paralytic had always performed well in our group phase having qualified for the Cup on every occasion.

Played 5, Won 3, Drawn 2, Lost 0. For 5, Against 1. Points 11 (2 nd of 6 teams)

2018 Riga Tournament

Played 4, Won 4, Drawn 0, Lost 0. For 12, Against 1. Points 12 (1 st of 5 teams).

It was a mightily impressive run and in fact Paralytic Athletic were 17 games unbeaten in our tournaments (excluding penalty shoot-outs). It was a run that went back to the group phase of the 2016 Amsterdam Fives when Real BUILDers beat them 2-1. That remained their only defeat in regular time in our tournaments….

….until now! FC Dad put in a famous performance that would go down as one of their best in eurofootballfives.com history. A Ben McNamee goal and a Stuart Leslie clean sheet earned their team a superb win.
