Round 3 started with Danish Dynamites taking on Cranwell. Both these teams had something in common – they had both secured 9-0 victories today. It's not often we can list a statistic like that!

Danish Dynamites had an excellent record in our tournaments. Including the two fixtures this morning, their stats read:

Barcelona 2017: Played 9, Won 6, Drawn 2, Lost 1, For 19, Against 5

Lisbon 2018: Played 5, Won 3, Drawn 0, Lost 2, For 16, Against 8

Barcelona 2019: Played 2, Won 1, Drawn 1, Lost 0, For 10, Against 1

Overall: Played 16, Won 10, Drawn 3, Lost 3, For 45, Against 14.

That was the size of the task facing Cranwell but they acquitted themselves well but could not prevent themselves going into half-time a goal down thanks to a Martin Frisch strike. In the second half Jesper Frisch made it 2-0 and sealed the win for the Danish side. This was a landmark goal for Jesper – it was his 20 th in eurofootballfives competition in just 17 games. A fine record. Danish Dynamites marched on.

AFC Underworld had got off to a flying start at last year's tournament. They won their first four games. Today, they had found it tougher going with just 1 point from a possible 6 so far. Time was still on their side if they wanted to reach the Cup competition again and, realistically, they needed to win their final 3 group games. The first of those opponents would be Rodger Fingers.

Rodger Fingers had won 1 and lost 1 so far. They were two points better off than their opponents and at kick-off sat fourth in the table. They could end the round a place higher with victory in this fixture.

The match proved to be evenly contested and there was nothing to divide the two teams. The first half came and went with the teams locked together at 0-0. The second half was to follow a similar pattern and once we reached the conclusion to the match it was the two defences who could consider it a job well done. Final score, 0-0.

We were now past the half-way mark in the group phase and we continued with Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf versus FNV. Both teams had a 100% record - Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf had enjoyed a superb morning so far with 2 wins out of 2. FNV had an unwanted 100% record of having lost both their games 9-0. A game against the top team was hardly what the Dutch needed to try and improve their form.

From an Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf perspective, they would probably not have a better chance of keeping this 100% record going. They had been particularly good in the first half of games today scoring 83% of their goals in the first half and were yet to concede. From this solid foundation they saw the games out in the second half.

They put in another strong first half showing here putting 5 goals past their beleaguered opponents. Matthew Berka got us underway scoring for the third goal in succession before a Nathan Chainey hat-trick. Ian Rosie took his tally to 5 for the day to make it 5-0 at the change of ends.

The scoring calmed down after the break even though Ian Rosie added his second of the game to make it 6-0. Agger Diouf Diouf Diouf were top of the table, 100% record intact.
