On today's form there was very little to differentiate the two teams and it is often difficult to compare the stats as one group may well have been tougher than the other. With the game underway there was very little to choose between the team two teams. We were goal-less for much of the first period. Just before half-time we would see the deadlock broken. The ball broke for Chris Holland on the left-side of the box and his cool left footed finish passed into the back of the net put The Blackouts 1-0 up at the break.

The Blackouts had won 3 of their 5 games 1-0 today and were well-placed to make this 4 out of 6. For CT1 it was disappointment to fall just short. For now they had to be content with Runners-Up medals but maybe it will be winners medals and trophies waiting for them next time.
