On Pitch D, Panadero Loco Sport met Fylde Old Boys FC. Panadero Loco Sport had the luxury of knowing they only needed one point to win the Group C title and they knew they had done enough to reach the Cup already.

Fylde Old Boys FC were in a precarious position. They were up against the Group C champions elect so knew they couldn't go for it too much otherwise they would lay themselves open against a good team and they could not afford to lose this game in trying to win it.

If they were to win it they would qualify for the Cup. If they ended this game with a point then they would need to hope there was a winner in the game between Turn Down For Watford and Elysian FC. If so, they would finish the second best third placed team. If not, a draw would see them finish fourth. A defeat would also see them finish fourth.

With the games being played simultaneously we are not sure if Fylde Old Boys FC knew the permutations and/or the scores from the other pitches. Regardless of this they secured a very good 0-0 draw. It was a good result in isolation. It also proved to be a good result in the context of Group C due to Elysian FC's win on Pitch A. Fylde Old Boys FC were through to the Cup.

That left us with GAT Assurance versus Brewin Dolphin B.

Brewin Dolphin B were the only team yet to get off the mark in Group C and this was their final chance. With Groups A and B finished, they knew exactly what they needed to do. If they could pick up a draw they would qualify for the Plate as the best sixth placed finisher. If they could collect a win they would leapfrog their opponents and finish fifth. Defeat would mean elimination from the tournament.

GAT Assurance were assured of a place in the Plate regardless of the result here. A win or draw would see them finish in fifth. Defeat would see them go through but they would have a tough draw in the Quarter-Finals playing the third placed team from Group B.

GAT Assurance had two draws to their name but were looking for that first win. They could not have been much closer in Round 4 when they were denied by a late long-distance equalizer. This time, they made no mistake.

Montassar Aguili scored his first goal of the tournament to put GAT Assurance 1-0 up. Taoufick Jebri then gave his team some breathing space as GAT Assurance enjoyed a 2-0 cushion. There was to be no late heartbreak for Tunisia this time!
