As
you can see, the French team had a phenomenal
record. They had just 1 defeat in 40 group games!
That game came in their first match at the 2016
Riga Tournament. They were currently on a run
of 21 games unbeaten including 3 today.
What
was just as astonishing was the defensive record
with just 24 goals conceded in 40 games. They
were yet to concede today.
We
mention all this not just to recognise the achievement
of L'Albiceleste but also to represent just how
big a win this was for Lostwithiel FC!
It
was a huge win for Lostwithiel FC. Jamie Facey
become the first man to score past Mickael Martin
today and his goal was followed by Josh Cook.
Alex Jacques kept a second clean sheet of the
tournament and Lostwithiel FC had a historic win.
