The first Semi-Final was between Inextremes and Whiteley Stags. It was going to be a tough one to call as Inextremes had a difficult morning but they had just produced a sensational display to knock out Olympic Phil Babb so we were not really sure what to expect from them.

Whiteley Stags were the last hope for glory for Whiteley FC following Pricers Whiteley All Stars exit. The Stags had also produced a good display to knock out Son Gual with their second win of the tournament.

Inextremes opened the scoring in the first half as Vicente Cabrera Pastor scored in his second consecutive game to make it 1-0. After the break he continued his rich vein of goalscoring form to make it 2-0 and it was now going to be tough for Whiteley Stags to fight back. The result was sealed when Bernat Sanjo Gonzalez made it 3-0 and they had booked their place in the Final.

We are not sure what Inextremes had for lunch but it was certainly working – no wins in 5 before lunch, 2 in 2 after. Maybe we should call for a drugs test! It was sadly the end of the road for Whiteley FC but we would like to thank them for supporting our tournaments once again.

The second Semi-Final was El Combe Old Boys versus Norton Hill Old Boys. This had the potential to be an epic Semi-Final as both teams came into the game on great run of form. Both teams had lost their opening three games but since then El Combe Old Boys had won 3 consecutive games and Norton Hill Old Boys were 3 games unbeaten with 2 wins and a draw. Confidence was high but one of these fine runs had to come to an end.

Norton Hill Old Boys made great strides to ensure it wouldn't be their run coming to an end as Lee Baverstock put them 1-0 up at half-time. El Combe Old Boys had it all to do in order to qualify for their second Plate Final and had to chase the game. Inevitably they would leave chances to Norton Hill Old Boys on the break and in Mark Paget Norton Hill had a deadly marksman that could take full advantage. He did so here with his 6 th goal of the tournament to make it 2-0 and end El Combe Old Boys involvement in the 2012 Mallorca Tournament. It was a sad farewell to them.

Norton Hill Old Boys continued their unbeaten strike and had won a place in the Plate Final where they would Spanish team, Inextremes.
