El Combe Old Boys went into Round 2 looking to overcome opening defeat against the current Mallorca Tournament holders and get their tournament on track. They were dealt another tough fixture as they had the current Prague Masters champions to contend with.

FC Radbroke had started off with a solid 1-0 win over Whiteley Stags but were now warmed up and with that they started moving through the gears. Mike Brandon sent them on their way with two goals in the opening half before Pete Cox bagged his first of the day to make it 3-0 in the second half. Brandon then went on to complete a hat-trick and it was then Mark Watkins who rounded things off to complete a convincing 5-0 victory.

It was two wins out of two for FC Radbroke now as they looked to add a second tournament win to their Prague success. El Combe Old Boys had started with two defeats but had played the two previous tournament winners in the group so with them out the way maybe they could kickstart their campaign in their next match.

Game 5 of Group B saw two teams looking for their first points of the day as John Barnes FC met Whiteley Stags. The latter had only just lost their first game by the old goal against a strong FC Radbroke side so would hope to bounce back from that. John Barnes FC had themselves lost to a strong Sportsman Bar side.

The first goal in these games can often prove pivotal as going a goal behind after a first game defeat can dent the confidence and give you that sinking feeling. By contrast, scoring the opening goal can give you a well needed lift to kick on. The opening goal in this game came from the boot of Jake Alford for Whiteley Stags and they did indeed kick on to make it 2-0 through Alex Cassar.

John Barnes FC's task got even more difficult in the second half when Jake Alford added a third goal and with that the destination of the three points was decided. The referee drew the game to a conclusion and it was Whiteley Stags 3, John Barnes FC 0.

The win lifted Whiteley Stags into 4 th position with the defeat leaving John Barnes FC in 5th place.

We finished off Round 2 with Sportsman Bar versus Policia Mallorca. Both teams had started off with a win and another victory here would see the victors join FC Radbroke at the top of Group B. A draw would leave them both in joint 2 nd position.

In the all-Spanish contest it was Sportsman Bar who dealt the first blow taking an early lead through Ruben Drover. Could Policia Mallorca show the form of champions and fight back? Not in the first half they couldn't and the teams turned round for the second half with Sportsman Bar leading 1-0. In the second half the Sportsman Bar continued to hold out but they were unable to find another goal to make their position comfortable. In the end, it was not needed though as a clean sheet meant that the Ruben Drover goal was enough to earn all 3 points in a fine victory.

Sportsman Bar were second, Policia Mallorca were third but both looked in good form.
