With just three points separating first and fourth place it was tight at the top. Inter Women were the first of the four teams at the top to advance their progress when they met a Son Gual side looking to put their first points on the board.

The first half was quite tight and Inter Women didn't have it all their own way but they still managed to establish a 2-1 lead as goals from Daniel Powell and Neil Pennington outgunned a solitary strike from Son Gual's number 10, Alejandro El Nino. In the second half Inter Women went 3-1 up and ended Son Gual's hopes of points from this game. The English team had taken the 3 points they needed, jumped to the top of Group A on 7 points and it was up to the rest of the chasing pack to match them.

For Son Gual it was 3 defeats in 3 matches but what tough matches they were. There was still time and 6 points on offer for them.

Of the top four teams, AFC Ramos and Olympic Phil Babb came face to face in the next game. Olympic Phil Babb were so far on a 100% record and if they could continue this record would jump above Inter Women to go top again. AFC Ramos needed to get something out of this game to stay up with the leaders as a defeat could see them lose pace on those at the top and stay mid-table.

Olympic Phil Babb were slowly going through the gears with a 1-0 win, a 3-0 win and they cranked that up to a 4-0 win in this game. Oliver Housden scored his second in as many games to get the ball rolling before James Cooper's third of the day made it 2-0. Alex Woolston scored his 3 rd and 4 th of the tournament to make it 4-0. Olympic Phil Babb were making efficient progress in Group A and goalkeeper Dan Andrews had his 3 rd clean sheet in 3 games.

AFC Ramos had started so well but with two defeats in a row were slipping down the Group A table. They needed to arrest this slide in their next fixture.

The final game of Round 3 saw the last of the teams at the top, Di Stefano Peluguira, play Vodafone Rangers. The Spanish needed a win to move onto 7 points and stay in the mix at the top and a 2-goal win would see them reclaim second position. Vodafone Rangers could move into joint 4 th place with a win but they had a tough task ahead of them.

Vodafone Rangers scored their first goal of the day through Mark Dunbar but, unfortunately for them, they had shipped three at the other end before half-time and another three after the break so fell to a 6-1 defeat. Di Stefano Peluguira were certainly looking prolific in front of goal averaging 4 per game and they were looking in fine form. They had goals from all over the pitch as well with Juan Jose Soria Lizana starting and finishing the scoring. In between there was a double from Marcos Canas Renbert plus goals from Raul Garcia Judar and Albert Fernandez Fernandez.

Di Stefano Peluguira moved into second place. Vodafone Rangers slipped from 5th to 6th.
