As we entered the fifth round of games we were rocked with the news that Neptune Rams had withdrawn from the tournament due to a mixture of last night's hangover and results on the pitch. We therefore revised all their games to a 3-0 walkover. The revised table would look as per the table below. They were due to play Inter Balear who would now get a 3-0 walkover to be added to this table at the end of Round 5.

The next game on the pitch would see Hellgarve Kraken's versus Deddington Sea Men. Both were quality teams who would come into the game with a tinge of disappointment. Deddington Sea Men had just seen their 100% record go but they were still unbeaten and lead the table by 4 points.

Hellgarve Kraken's had just seen a 10 game unbeaten run in our tournaments come to an end. Despite this, Hellgarve Kraken's found themselves down in fifth position so they really needed a result. If they could pull off a victory they could move into second place. It would not be easy though.

For the fifth game today it was Deddington Sea Men who took the lead. Mark Cook scored his second goal of the tournament as the English team forged ahead. For the most part of this game it looked like they were on course for the 3 points and a 6 point lead at the top of the table. Hellgarve Kraken's staged a stunning comeback though.

Tiago Nogueira scored 7 goals in the 2019 Lisbon Tournament last month. Before this game he had just the one goal in Mallorca so far today but that was soon about to change. With time running out he found the equalizer and then moments later he was on the score-sheet again as he struck the winner. Final score, 2-1.

Game 15 of Group B was a big game at the middle of the table. Remember the top two qualified for the Cup automatically and the team in third was highly likely to as one of the best two third placed finishers. GHSFC and Bar Maruru were in fourth and fifth positions at the start of play but were only one and two points behind second place respectively. If either team could win here they would move into second place outright.

There was a lot at stake for these two teams. Only one team in eurofootballfives.com history had ever retained a title. That was Athletico Do Hollande when they won the 2010 and 2011 Algarve Open titles. If Bar Maruru wanted to keep their hopes alive of being the second team then they couldn't afford to lose this game…..and they didn't.

The Spanish team produced a stunning display that saw the biggest win in Group B. Farid Echanghoufi was the hero in the early stages as a brace saw Bar Maruru establish a 2-0 lead. Juan Joe Vanrell then took over goal-scoring responsibility with a hat-trick. Bar Maruru were not down there as their number 10 completed the scoring to cap a fine 6-0 win.
