Pajero FC would come into Round 3 on an upward curve of form having just secured their first win of the day and currently occupying third place in the table. Their next opponents, Wilhelmus, had so far found life difficult in the early stages and were looking to register their first goals and first points of the tournament.

In a keenly contested first half Wilhelmus secured one of those targets by scoring not only their first goal of the day through Tim Warrington but also their second through David King. The goals were good enough to give them a share of the spoils going into the break as Jack Walsh and Rob Jones goals for Pajero FC meant it was 2-2.

With their first goals secured could they now register their first points? Pajero FC put a spanner in the works for this objective as another Rob Jones strike plus Jay Kwan's fourth goal of the tournament meant Pajero FC ran out 4-2 victors on the day. The result put Pajero FC level with Athletico Do Hollande and East Compton Eagles.

For Wilhelmus it was close but no cigar.

AAK S&S had started off with a win and since suffered two defeats in a pattern of results that had parallels with their appearance 3 years ago. If they could get back to winning ways against FC Copenbadly though they would move on to 6 points and make it a 4-team tie at the top of Group A. They still had very much to play for.

FC Copenbadly were currently sat in 5 th position but had at least one game (in some cases two games) in hand over their rivals in Group A so if they could record a positive result there was still much to play for.

AAK S&S stormed out of the blocks in this one and FC Copenbadly had no answer to their opponents. Gary Bartley got the ball rolling before Kevin Stork and Richard Clubley also scored to give AAK S&S firm control of this game, 3-0.

FC Copenbadly bagged their first goals of the day after the break (both through Michael Ralph) as they threatened to make a comeback but AAK S&S had enough in the tank. Richard Clubley's second half goal ensured AAK S&S always had that cushion to secure the three points. It was getting very tight at the top!

To complete Round 4 we had East Compton Eagles versus Wilhelmus. It was East Compton Eagles third game of the campaign and, of those at the top, as the last team to play in Round 3 they had the opportunity to open up a lead and move away from the pack on 6 points.

For Wilhelmus, this was their fourth fixture and there had been signs in the third game that they were getting closer to their first points. This would be a tough game to try and break that point-scoring duck. East Compton Eagles currently had a 100% record and would be confident of extending that. They were made to work extremely hard for a first half lead though and they edged it by the odd goal in three as Sean McCullough and Andy Cockrean both scored for the third game in a row to outgun the strike from Mike Swanson for Wilhelmus.

The next goal of this game was likely to be pivotal – could Wilhelmus pull level and make it game on or would East Compton Eagles have the luxury of a two-goal lead? Sadly for Wilhelmus it was the latter as McCullough scored again for 3-1 before Sam Bennett wrapped up the victory, 4-1.

East Compton Eagles were leading the field in Group A.
