Athletico
Do Hollande became the second most successful
team in eurofootballfives.com history on the 26th
July 2014 when they added the 2014 Amsterdam Fives
title to their 2010 and 2011 victories in the
Algarve Open. Their 3rd title puts them second
in the all-time list behind Olympic Phil Babb
who have 4 titles.
Our
runners-up on the day were Melee FC who were the
bridesmaids for a second time as the 2013 Barcelona
Fives 2nd placed team had to settle for Runners-Up
medals again. 3rd time lucky next time out?
In
the Plate Final it was St Paul's College Old Boys
versus Pajero FC as we were treated to a superb
spectacle and a thrilling penalty shoot-out deciding
the honours. It was St Paul's College Old Boys
who triumphed.
The
Wooden Spoon was won by a team representing Wilhelmus
who stepped in late to save the day after the
regular Wilhelmus squad needed to pull out due
to player availability issues.. |
