At
kick-off, we had the top 5 in Group C all separated
by just 1 point. The top two were on four points
each with the next 3 teams all on 3 points each.
We now had the two teams on four points coming
face to face – Cruz Del Sur versus The Hoover
Dams.
Cruz
Del Sur's record in the group phase of the tournaments
(under their various names) was impressive.
It included 2x unbeaten campaigns and 1x 100%
record. The full history read:

Here
against The Hoover Dams they were level at 0-0
at half-time. Cruz Del Sur were yet to conceded
in the tournament and as Bobby Moore once said,
“ If you don't concede any goals you'll win
more games than you lose.'
Cruz
Del Sur's David Jamieson maintained his tournament
clean sheet all the way to full time whilst
at the other end David Coleman scored the only
goal of the game to earn a win for Cruz Del
Sur that saw them go 3 points clear at the top.
