The second half belonged to AFC FYM who extended the lead from 3-2 to 5-2 via two goals from Dom Morgan. David Netherway completed his hat-trick to make it 6-2 before Nick Pocock's goal ensured a second consecutive 7-2 win for AFC FYM.

So, the last game on the field in Group B would be VK Dons versus The A Team. What was at stake for these two teams?

VK Dons had a very good chance of reaching the Cup. At kick-off they sat in third place on 8 points. They were unbeaten with 2 draws and 2 wins and those victories had come in the last two games so form was on their side. This game would undoubtedly be their toughest challenge so far.

For The A Team, Cup qualification and the Group B title was already achieved. The only question for them was if they could maintain their 100% record. Since we moved to this venue in 2016 only 1 team had managed a 100% record in a 6-team group and that was Hamid Hammers (Sco) in 2017.

It looked very much like The A Team would achieve this after a first half that saw them open up a 2-0 lead with goals from Yassin Mendy and You Matuidi. VK Dons kicked off a second half behind for the first time today but they were back in it after Edward Mallett reduced the deficit to 2-1.

The A Team had Randy Tchutio in their arsenal though and with 11 goals already it was no surprise that he added to his tally as he restored the two goal lead to make it 3-1 to the men from Paris. Edward Mallett scored another for VK Dons as the English team ran their illustrious opponents close but they could not quite get an equalizer. Final score, 3-2.
