To
complete Round 4 we had Epsilon Rovers versus
Shahs of Sunset. Epsilon Rovers were the stand
out team in Group A so far with 15 goals scored
and 0 conceded. Shahs of Sunset's group record
in our tournaments to date was also impressive.
It read:

It
was Epsilon Rovers who held the upper hand in
this one as two Evan Day goals put his team in
a commanding position. Anes Jusic scored for Shahs
of Sunset to make it 2-1 but, alas for his team,
it proved to be a consolation on this occasion.
The
goal was notable though as Jusic became the first
man to score past Rich Simmons today and it prevented
Simmons equaling a record at the Amsterdam Fives.
Since we moved to this venue in 2016 only one
man had kept 4 consecutive clean sheets at the
start of a tournament and that was Spain United's
goalkeeper all the way back in that 2016 tournament.
I am sure that would not matter much though as
Epsilon Rovers maintained their 100% start to
the tournament. |
