Round 2 started with Cruz Del Sur versus FC Spritz. It was a team looking to build on an opening game draw against a team looking to bounce back from first round defeat.

Cruz Del Sur had appeared in our Amsterdam Fives tournament before back in 2015. They appeared as Cruz Del Sur A on that occasion they finished third in their six team group and would have qualified for the Cup had Storm Zeijko not lead to the abandonment of the tournament. They had performed well despite hugely challenging conditions before the Code Red weather warning curtailed the day's activities. One of the most entertaining games was a narrow 4-3 loss to 3x winners Athletico Do Hollande. 6 of their squad today survived from that appearance four years ago and they have also added the 2018 Algarve Open top scorer Liam Kenney so they looked in good shape for today's campaign.

Cruz Del Sur looked good in this one as they secured a 2-0 win thanks to goals from David Coleman and Lewis Henson. There was a second clean sheet of the day for David Jamieson.

Next up in Group C was Legendarische IT Werkgever (Hol) against Holsten Pils (Eng).

Holsten Pils featured at the 2018 Gdansk Tournament for their eurofootballfives.com debut with Sam Woods playing for Monaco Tiny Gdanskers who had a good group phase with 2 wins, 2 draws and just the 1 defeat to finish second in Group A. It saw them qualify for the elite Cup competition but they left as the Quarter-Final stage following a 2-0 defeat to Lithuania's Lilchicago.

Alex Burns and Emiliano Sanchez Repetto played for I Love United & Drinking Shandies who finished joint third in terms of points (6) in Group C behind the eventual two finalists. They were one of three teams on 6 points and finished fourth on goal difference which resulted in Plate qualification. They came unstuck at the Quarter-Final stage following 3-0 defeat to Fresher's FC.

Holsten Pils also featured two debutants today – Adam Niven and Tom Anthony. They had started well with a 5-2 win but went behind in this game. They were 3-0 down before they recovered to 3-2 thanks to two Alex Burns goals. Legendarische IT Werkgever found a second wind as they ran out 5-2 winners. Karim Elbaz was the main man for the Dutch with 4 goals.

Game 6 of Group C would be contested by The Hoover Dams and Springfield B. Both teams got off to promising starts in Round 1. The Hoover Dams produced a resounding 5-0 win whilst Springfield B drew 0-0 with 2018 Algarve Open Cup Finalists, Cruz Del Sur.

It was The Hoover Dams who broke the deadlock in this game as Jonathan Trott added to his hat-trick in Round 1 with another goal here. James Donnellan levelled it up for Springfield B with their first goal of the tournament.

The Hoover Dams restored their lead to 2-1 thanks to a Tom Rivers goal but they were to be denied a second victory as the unfortunate Jonathan Trott found the net again – this time his own net. Springfield B were level at 2-2 and earned their second draw of the day.
