Game
2 of Group A was Sloterdijk (Hol) versus Shahs
of Sunset (Eng).
Shahs
of Sunset were the most experienced team in
the 2019 Amsterdam Fives as they were making
their 9th appearance in our tournaments. They
have traditionally done well in the group phase
finishing top (or joint top) of their group
on 6 previous occasions. They had been slow
starters in recent years though as they hadn't
won their opening game since a 4-0 win over
Rat Goblins at the 2014 Bratislava Tournament.
The record reads:

was a stunning start for Shahs of Sunset as

Bruijn pulled it back to 2-1 at half-time. Huessein
Adeus then equalized at 2-2 before Shahs of
Sunset restored their lead and go on to win
