We began Round 4 with FC Potsdam versus Naranjitos in what could have been a repeat of the 2015 Barcelona Fives Plate Semi-Final had the Spanish not lost a penalty shoot-out in the Quarter-Finals.

At that tournament both teams had similar records. Naranjitos finished second in their group with 7 points, just 1 defeat and a goal difference of +1 (8-7). FC Potsdam (playing as (ABCDE FC) finished second in their group with 5 points, just 1 defeat and a goal difference of -2 (7-9). Then, Drunk Perfect (Spa) knocked each of the teams out in tightly fought contests. Naranjitos went on penalties after a 2-2 draw, ABCDE FC went out 1-0 in the Semi-Final.

Today though, it was FC Potsdam who had been enjoying the better results so far. That didn't stop them falling 2-1 behind as David Moya Aparicio (2) outgunned Ian Rosie's fourth strike of the tournament. In the second half it was also Naranjitos on top in terms of the score as Luis Imbernon Bano (2) outgunned Adam Watson's third foal of the day.

The win for Naranjitos meant that these two well matched teams were level again – on 4 points each and a share of fourth place in the Group A table.

To complete Round 4 we had JK Silvertown versus FC Tiote. JK Silvertown had kicked off their Amsterdam campaign with a victory before two wins on the bounce. It was not too late for them to qualify for the Cup if they could sign off Group A with two wins. Their task would not be easy as they faced the team at the top of the table.

FC Tiote had a lead of 4 points at the start of Round 4 but had just seen Vieze Vu reduce that to a solitary point. If they could win this game they would re-establish that 4 point lead and in the process secure the Group A title. FC Tiote were protecting a 100% lead at the start of this one and had kept two clean sheets in a row coming into this game.

Ben Martin in the FC Tiote goal had been superb today having only conceded once. He was beaten for the second time in the opening period of this fixture as Chris Wright put JK Silvertown 1-0 up. It was a lead that JK Silvertown would retain until half-time. This was the first time FC Tiote had been behind in the tournament – could they respond?

They threw everything at JK Silvertown but the Silvertown defence repelled every attack. Darren Butler, in goal for JK Silvertown, and his defence kept their first clean sheet of the day. It was a stunning win in the context of the groupas JK Silvertown moved up to third. It was a blow for FC Tiote but they still very much had their fate in their own hands.
