Round 5 began with Blue Collar Revolution and Valecuatro. For the second game in a row Blue Collar Revolution would face off against their nearest rivals. Last time out they put Forn De N'aina in their place with a 4-0 win. If they could defeat Valecuatro they would finish Group B with a 100% record.

Valecuatro needed just a point from this game to secure second place and qualification for the Cup. They might still secure second with defeat if FC Shark v FC De N'aine finished as a draw. If one of those won and Valecuatro lost it would come down to goal difference.

At half-time, Valecuatro did not look like losing though. They were 2-0 up at half-time as Abraham Moreno Cortes and Pascal Moreno Cortes fired the Spanish team ahead. Blue Collar Revolution had never been behind in this tournament…until now. They were under pressure (in the game, not the tournament) for the first time today. If Valecuatro could win by 3 goals or more they would climb above their opponents and win Group B on goal difference. That could mean a tougher Quarter-Final tie for Blue Collar Revolution.

The game was delicately poised but Blue Collar Revolution were back in it when Romain Bernard reduced arrears to 2-1. Bernard scored again to level it up at 2-2 before the game was turned on its head. From 0-2 down to 3-2 up as Julien Hatton completed a sensational comeback. Blue Collar Revolution won Group B in style!

It was a brave effort from Valecuatro who, as it turned out, had done enough to join the French team in the Cup.

FC Shark and Forn De N'aine came into the game in third and fourth respectively. A win for either team would see them qualify for the Cup in second (automatically) or third (as one of the two best third placed teams) on 9 points. Defeat would mean fourth and the Plate. A draw would mean FC Shark finishing third with 7 points and possibly enough to make the Cup (depending on what happened in Group C).

With two teams level in the table at this stage of proceedings it was perhaps no surprise to see the teams well matched and nothing could separate them at the half-time whistle, 0-0. As things stood, it favoured FC shark but both teams would look to get a winner. For Forn De N'aina it was essential.

Just the one goal would decide this and after the break it was Manuel Torres Castano's goal that would prove the difference. It was the only goal he would score all day but what a crucial time to get it and what a valuable goal it would prove. It meant that his team leapfrogged FC Shark into third place and would qualify for the Cup.

The defeat consigned FC Shark to the Plate. As it turned out, a 0-0 draw would have seen them into the Cup. They were moments away from their first Cup appearance.

Into Game 15 of Group B and we'd had an interesting round of fixtures. In the first game we had the top, then we had the teams in 3rd and 4th, now we had the teams in 5th and 6th. Mannenliefde and Fleet Street Elite A were set to do battle.

Mannenliefde technically needed a point to avoid the Wooden Spoon but such was the goal difference this was probably not necessary. Their first win of the day was their first game of the day. 3 defeats later and they would look to get back to winning ways to go into the Plate with some momentum.

Fleet Street Elite A would most likely finish sixth regardless of this result but they could avoid the Wooden Spoon with a win (assuming FC De Rimmer and Fleet Street Elite 1 failed to win).

With the action underway, the game went very much in favour of the Dutch team. Rene Flooren in particular had a great game as he scored four times. Marijn Beck and Jeffrey Speek were also on target as they hit Fleet Street Elite A for six. Jamie Rayat scored his third of the tournament and third in two games. It would be no consolation for his team who ended in 6th position and would go to the Wooden Spoon play-off. Mannenliefde would play their knock-out football in the Plate competition.
