Mannenliefde and Blue Collar Revolution came into Round 2 on the back of Round 1 victories. The two teams would look to build on a solid platform to the day's proceedings and make it 2 out of 2.

Blue Collar Revolution were bidding to become the second team from France to win the Mallorca Fives. Grant Thornton from Paris won the title in 2013 and Blue Collar Revolution looked like very good contenders to repeat their countrymen's achievement.

In the first half the French team established a 1-0 lead with Julien Hatton scoring his first goal of the tournament. Blue Collars Revolution held the lead until half-time. They had scored five goals without reply so far today and that figure became six and then seven when Romain Bernard and Thomas Bastien made it 3-0.

For Mannenliefde, it was a big comedown after first game victory but they should take comfort that not all games would be as difficult as this one.

For Game 5 of Group B we had Fleet Street Elite A versus FC Shark. Both teams would be licking their wounds after Round 1 as the teams had suffered defeats. FC shark went down 4-0 at the hands (feet) of Blue Collar Revolution whilst Fleet Street Elite A went down 3-0 to Forn De N'aina.

Both teams were looking to avenge that opening game defeat and it was FC Shark who hit the front. Chris Breen scored his team's first goal of the tournament and from there they never looked back. Luke Burnett made it 2-0 and they were in control at half-time.

In the second half, FC Shark were ruthless. Dan Smith made it 3-0, Chris Breen made it 4-0 and the goals continued to flow. Joe Cridland, Luke Burnett and Dan Smith hit numbers 5, 6 and 7 as FC Shark completed a 7-0 win.

It was a sensational result for FC Shark and represented a huge change of momentum. A 0-4 loss followed by a 7-0 win is almost unprecedented in our tournaments. It also propelled them from the foot of the table into second position in the Group B standings.

The game that would complete Round 2 was Forn De N'Aina against Valecuatro. The squad from Argentina with 1 win under their belt would take on the squad from Spain with 1 defeat to their name.

It proved to be a close opening period of play and in fact there was nothing to separate the two teams at half-time. We were level at 1-1. Pascal Moreno Cortes was the man on target for Valecuatro, Matias De Llano scored for Forn De N'aina.

The second half proved to be a much more one-sided affair as Valecuatro found their form. Pascal Moreno Cortes went on to score a hat-trick either side of a goal from Abraham Moreno Cortes. Alexis Ferreira's second goal of the competition was to prove a mere consolation.

The two teams occupied a congested mid-table with four teams level on 3 points each.
