Next
up we had Racing Literki FC versus Spider Mans
& Great Hawk. At the start of Round 3 these
teams were 3rd and 4th in the table and both
needed the points to help propel them up Group
A in their search for Cup qualification. Racing
Literki FC were currently upwardly mobile coming
into the game off the back of a 4-0 win last
time out.
Spider
Mans & Great Hawk remained undefeated after
two draws against Budapest Celtic Hoops and
Red Light Runners – the top two teams at present.
So, although the table didn't look great for
them at the moment, a win here with theoretically
easier games to come meant they were still well
placed.
This
game was proving to be another highly competitive
game and another evenly matched one for Spider
Mans & Great Hawk. The half-time whistle
came and went with the teams locked together
at 0-0. The full-time whistle came and went
with the teams still deadlocked at 0-0.
For
the Spider Mans team this was becoming reminiscent
of their 2015 Lisbon Tournament campaign where
their Eagles squad drew 4 of their 5 group games
which proved to be a real drag on their progress.
For Racing Literki FC it was a draw that would
keep them in third place with two games still
to go.
