Intermore FC were next in action and they had a tough fixture to look forward to. They were up against the unbeaten team from France – Luminy Wolves. Intermore FC had played a solid game so far today and sat in 4 th place and could go joint 2nd with a win. It was not going to be easy against the team at the top looking to open up a 5 point lead in Group B.

Half-time came and went and we were still level at 0-0. If Luminy Wolves thought three points were automatic they would have been mistaken as the Irish guys dug deep to frustrate the French. In the end there was only one goal and it was a controversial one. One of the Luminy Wolves players was injured and Paul Reid of Intermore FC advanced into Luminy territory. With the injured player not quite of the pitch the French made a sub, tackled Reid and from there broke to score the game's decisive goal through Byllel Ben Khalifa. Intermore FC were up in arms but it mattered not as the referee gave the goal and it was tough on the Irish side who had put in such a strong performance.

Luminy Wolves wouldn't mind one bit though as they moved on to 10 points and guaranteed Cup qualification in the process.

Dickie Dogs had started off well earning two solid draws before a disappointing defeat last time out. They would hope to bounce back from that when they met The Spice Boys. The Spice Boys themselves were looking to regain early form as they had gone Win-Draw-Loss and needed to arrest this slide.

It was Dickie Dogs who took the early advantage when captain Ian Hall put them 1-0 up in the first half. After the break Pete Grigg doubled the Dickie Dogs lead and they were on course for a victory that would see them go joint second. The Spice Boys needed to hit back to arrest their slide down the Group B table but the third goal of the game settled matters for the Dickie Dogs when Paul Hillier opened his account for the day to make it 3-0.

Budapest Celtic Lions went into their fourth game unbeaten with 1 win and 2 draws under their belts. They played the team at the foot of Group B, It's Back, who had 2 draws themselves but a heavy defeat also. It was 2 nd versus 6 th and the form book would suggest a win to the home named team.

It was not to be that straightforward though as the two teams battled hard in the opening period to reach the interval level at 0-0. Both teams were staring at a 3rd draw in 4 games which would suit the Lions more seeing it would consolidate them in 2nd place. For It's Back a draw would see them climb into 5 th but they really needed a win.

We were to see a winner and that goal came from the boot of It's Back's Pil Oh. It was a vital goal that saw them climb to a 3-way tie for 2nd place. One blip aside, they'd been solid at the back and if they could find some more goals could pose a threat in this tournament. For Budapest Celtic Lions it was a missed opportunity to book their place in the Cup competition but would have one more game to achieve this goal.
