Ujpest RK's final group game would have been against Aston Carter FC. The latter therefore picked up 3 points and a 3-0 win that put them on 6 points and up to 4th place. They were guaranteed a place in the Plate competition whatever happened now as Stani's Mates walkover in Round 4 ended their Cup hopes.

Talking of Stani's Mates, they needed a result to guarantee Cup qualification. A win would put them on 10 points and temporarily in 2nd which would be automatic qualification and almost certainly a best 3rd placed spot if the Tigers also won. A draw would possibly be good enough as one of the two best 3rd placed teams but they would rely on results going their way in other groups. A defeat would probably mean the Plate.

Whatever they were going to achieve would not be easy as they were up against ABC United. The Romanian team had 4 wins out of 4 thus far and needed just a draw to take the Group A title. If there was any doubt that ABC United would win this group it was extinguished in a first half that saw Robert Florin Matei and Mihai Mihalache open up a 2-0 lead. ABC United were yet to concede in this tournament and it would take 3 for them to lose this one. The game finished 2-0 and ABC United claimed the Group A title with a perfect 100% record. Stanis Mates would have to settle for the Plate.

The 15th and final game of Group A was DYDDFC versus Budapest Celtic Tigers. The English team had started the day well but stuttered recently and slipped to 5th place. The Tigers were also coming in to the game on the back of a defeat but with no pressure as Stanis Mates defeat meant they were assured of 2nd place. DYDDFC would play in the Plate whatever happened but a win would see them in 3rd or 4th rather than 5th meaning a theoretically easier path to glory in the Plate draw.

How would Budapest Celtic Tigers respond to their 1st defeat in 12 group games and their failure to win the group title in a eurofootballfives.com tournament? Pretty well to be fair as two goals in each half produced a 4-0 victory with a hat-trick for Bruno and first goal of the day for Cillian O'Donoghue.
