The first game of Round 2 saw It's Back take on Luminy Wolves of France. With a solid start by both a solid opening point it was now time to build on that draw and find victory to push on in Group B.

Joyously for French supporters and sadly for English supporters it was the latter who stormed to victory in this one – the Luminy Wolves were ruthless as they scored three in each half to claim all 3 points. They shared the goals around with Allan Gosselin and Byllel Ben Khalifa each scoring twice plus strikes from Haikel Ben Khalifa and Sid-Ahmed Bouriche.

It was a great result for the Wolves who moved to the top of Group B. For It's Back it was a tough defeat but the joy of the 6-team group is they had 3 more group games and plenty of time to turn fortunes around.

Next up was The Spice Boys against Budapest Celtic Lions. The former could re-establish an outright lead in Group B with a win, the Lions could join Luminy Wolves at the summit if they won and a draw would see The Spice Boys share the top spot with the French and give the Lions a mid-table position.

The game proved extremely tight and The Spice Boys defence kept a second clean sheet of the day but unfortunately they were unable to break their opponent's defence and so we ended in stalemate at 0-0.

A point was not the end of the world for neither team and Group B was looking particularly interesting.

Intermore FC and Dickie Dog had the opportunity to climb the table when they next met and both teams were looking for their first goals of the competition. In yet another close contest there was very little to split the teams and by half-time we were still level at 0-0.

We were to see some goals in the second period but by full-time the teams could still not be separated as Ian Hall (Dickie Dogs) and James Kirkwood (Intermore FC) earned their team's a point in a 1-1 draw.

It was a first point of the day for Intermore FC and for Dickie Dogs it was 2 draws in 2 games. We'd praised Budapest Celtic Tigers in Group A earlier for their unbeaten run in eurofootballfives.com group games (11) so it is worth mentioning that Dickie Dogs were now 6 group phase games unbeaten with 3 wins and 3 draws.
