In
the next game Bristol Bridge were looking to
emulate Shahs of Sunset by turning opening game
defeat into second game victory. Their task
would certainly not be easy as they faced Luminy
Wolves.
Luminy
Wolves had an unbelievable record in the group
stages of eurofootballfives.com tournaments.
Including their first game win here it read:
Played:
17
Won:
15
Drawn:
2
Lost:
0
Incidentally,
it was two Hungarian teams that had taken those
draws (FC Miracle, Barca Fives 2011 and Budapest
Celtic Lions, Budapest Fives 2012). They had
scored 62 goals and conceded just 9. That was
the size of the task facing Bristol Bridge.
The
English team did pretty well scoring twice through
Paul Kelly and Lee Roberts but they were unable
to prevent the French attack at the other end
and goals from Haikel Ben Khelifa (3), Mohamed
Yousfi, Najim Ait El Asri and Byllel Ben Khelifa
ensured it was an 18 th group game unbeaten.
Final score, 6-2.
